What a fun and informative night it was, many thanks to Tony Winfield for not only judging the 3rd round small prints but also for a very well presented feed back on each picture, so many thanks to him and to Tommy Thomas Thain for coming first place. Also a huge thanks to Lenny Smith for judging the Studio8 competition on water, it was very interesting to see the very different ways members interpreted the subject, some fantastic results and congratulations to Liam McBride for winning the Studio8 competition.
Next week we have Willie Horsburgh on Drones for the first half and Thomas Thain on “An Introduction to Astro Photography” so we look forward to that.

Tuesday 14 Dec- Last club night until 11 Jan 22

Ok so this Tuesday is our Christmas quiz which will be a lot of fun. Please come in the Christmas mood with some nice Christmas jumpers. We will have mince pies, snacks and hopefully some non alcoholic wine.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members for there support since we started up after lockdown it really has been amazing. Our membership is sitting just under 40 and at the moment we have capped it due to covid regulations and the library’s rules.
And finally a huge thank you to the committee of this great club without which there would be no club. Most of you came on board when we were struggling and what a difference you have made and I can’t praise you enough for your commitment to your duties as a committee member. I hope you all stay when the AGM comes around.
Merry Christmas to you all and have a very happy New Year. Stay safe.
Lenny A very proud president.
