This Tuesday we have Painting With Light with Michael Ross, and his glamorous assistant Thomas Thain (lol) who has kindly offered toff his pixel stick to the members. For those that were there last year it was great fun and was suggested and encouraged by members to be put in for this year’s syllabus. Seeing as we have such a great place to do this at the Golf Club we would like members to take a light of any sort and colour and if we have time to get into groups of 5, find a safe space and try doing it yourselfs. Michael and Tommy will be on hand to help.
Remember to bring your camera with a fully charged battery and empty memory card. A tripod and remote shutter release as well if you have one.
Come and show us your creativity 😀.
What a great night it was tonight. A huge thank you to Tom McCulloch for judging the first round of the Small Prints and giving our members very honest feedback on their entries and also thanks to Iain Rollo for his presentation on the Ospreys at lossie and Aviemore.
The Small Print Results are available on the SPG PhotoEntry website.
With only one week to go for pictures to be submitted for the Dallas Dhu Open Day you still have time to get something in, even if its just one picture. Also on the 16th November please try to come along as well to support members who have entered and have some fun as well.
Thanks again to Tom and Iain.
Due to a unforeseen double booking, the Elgin Golf Club is closed on Tuesday 22nd October 2019 as they are having their AGM.
We tried to book the Elgin Library for the 22nd but this is also booked therefore we will be having our club night on Wednesday 23rd October 2019 at Elgin Golf Club.

Thank you for your understanding.
Next week is an opportunity for members to display and talk about a couple of images they shot during the Summer.
Two images can be uploaded here Summer Images Upload, and have to be uploaded by Sunday 13th October 2019 to allow time for them to be collated for presentation on Tuesday night.
