Tue 3 Sep 24 – Opening Night

We had a great turnout for our first night back. The new system for joining and accessing information ran very smoothly with over 35 members signing and it was great to see and welcome some new faces who came along for the opening night giving us an attendance of 43 people, it looks like we are off to a great start for the 2024-25 season.

Lenny Smith the Club President took us through what looks to be an exciting and varied Syllabus for beginners and experienced photographers alike as well as went over whats changed in the club from last season and also how we got on with the first Summer Outings. Debbie who made some amazing cakes which along with her homemade sausage rolls went down extremely well in the half- time break.

All in all a fantastic start to our new season with thanks especially to all the committee for their hard work behind the scenes and to Debbie for her delicious cakes!

The SPG syllabus is now live on our website and all competitions are open on Photoentry for our members to start uploading your pictures for the whole season if you wish.

Next week we will be covering how to use Photoentry as well as what you need to know for getting the best out of your pictures ready for the competitions.
